Your adventure begins in the restaurant, where the entrance is located. From there, the path leads you to our house museum and finally into the majestic gorge.

A masterpiece of bygone times

This extraordinary rock gallery is the result of an incredible feat: it was built during the winters of 1907 to 1914 by the then innkeeper and owner, Christian Pitschen-Melchior.
You can discover the fascinating story of this life’s work, including the “why” and “how,” in detail in our in-house museum.

Your visit to the Roffla Gorge

You should allow about 30 minutes for the hike into the gorge and back, including a visit to the museum.
Of course, you can also spend over an hour and fully enjoy the unique atmosphere.
