Rock gallery to the waterfall

From the house, the rock gallery leads into the Rofflaschlucht and even at the far end behind the waterfall, and thus under the Rhine through.
The trail passes through the restaurant -where the entrance is located- to the museum and then into the gorge.

This rock gallery was built in the winters 1907-14 by the then landlord and owner Christian Pitschen-Melchior.
The story about this life's work, why and how it came about, can be visited in the House Museum.

The hike in the gorge and back takes about half an hour, including museum, which of course you can stay and enjoy well over an hour.
